This video will show you how to create a custom tab for your Facebook Page using a plugin called “Facebook Tab Manager”.
The steps covered in the video are:
- Create a Facebook Tab application in WordPress (the first iFrames tab shown was created using Gravity Forms).
- Create a Facebook Application for the Custom Tab you just created.
- Add the Custom Tab to your Facebook Page.
- To create a “reveal tab” watch this video.

So Im wondering, can we fire our designers now? Or become ones ourselves.
And what the benefit of having fan page engine ? Just wondering if Im missing anything..
So do you have to sign in to be a designer for each new tab?
Thanks ! This was awesome!
Susan – There’s a huge difference between knowing how to build and design a website, and having good design sense. FanPageEngine is for folks that either like a template approach to building custom tabs (they have great designs, by the way…) and/or don’t have the technical experience to create an application.
Ouch Susan! As a designer you just hurt my feelings.
Thanks for the video. I have a question though, I used the Site URL and Domain URL provided under Website Tab. I wonder why Facebook says this domain URL is invalid …
Site Domain: meetsamlive.com/?fbtab=about
And the Facebook Integration Tab UR….
Tab URL: [CANVAS URL]/ (Enter “” in the blank)
is literally, blank. Unlike what you have on your video.
You have to point to a directory. meetsmlive.com/fbtab/about/ would work.
Thank you so very much… Love this, and it helped me so much… You are the best!
Thanks, Frances!
Hi. Thanks for the vid. What if we want to create numerous tabs for one FB page? Do I follow these instructions to set up each tab with a “different” app?
Yes
Thank you for this short awesome tutorial about creating Facebook Tabs.
Kind Regards,

If you are using WordPress, you might as well use a WordPress plugin that can do this better than what is being show here:
